A mindful means of holistic communication by a system of structured touch.  It is suitable for everybody and comes into its own when massage is inappropriate because the receiver is very fragile or critically ill and works very well in combination with aromatherapy.  I often use it to good effect where the patient is particularly anxious or does not enjoy the depth of touch in traditional massage.  The M Technique works on the skin receptor sites that send signals to the brain and its gentle, repetitive strokes build confidence, remove anxiety and aid relaxation.
